The Department of Anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder invites applications for a two-year partial-FTE Instructor appointment in Biological Anthropology, starting Fall Semester 2009. The position is a partial instructorship with a teaching load of two courses per academic semester which will allow the candidate time for research and to interact with our faculty. Faculty research interests include primate health and disease ecology, conservation biology, primate evolution, early hominid paleoecology, human reproductive and nutritional ecology, skeletal biology, and biogeochemical techniques for studying the diets and habitats of modern and fossil fauna. Teaching will include both introductory courses and advanced undergraduate courses in the candidate's area of interest. A PhD is required.
